Tow trucks are one of the most unique vehicles that require warning lights. Most of the time, when that are assisting disabled vehicles, their lights can be blocked by the disabled vehicle making them less visible. Aside from that, since they are work truck, they need work lights to see what they are doing. Managing the two so that the work lights don't blind drivers while having lights in the right spots to warn is a tricky line to walk some times.
What do we recommend?
We recommend using lights on either the outter bed rail or on the headache rack that have 180 degree optics. For all tow trucks, but especially flatbeds, that provides warning no matter the angle of the bed/truck. With that, proper sync of the lights will have a brighter pop then just each light doing its own thing.
